This website and mobile app are run by vFairs. We want as many people as possible to be able to use this website. For example, that means you should be able to:

  • Navigate most of the website using a keyboard or speech recognition software
  • Listen to most of the website using a screen reader (including the most recent versions of JAWS, NVDA, and VoiceOver)
  • We’ve also made the website text as simple as possible to understand
  • AbilityNet has advice on making your device easier to use if you have a disability

1) How Accessible This Website and Mobile App Are

vFairs is committed to making the Networkshop 2025 website and mobile app as accessible as possible. However, we know some parts of this website are not fully accessible:

  • You cannot modify the line height or spacing of text
  • You cannot skip to the main content when using a screen reader

2) Feedback and Contact Information

We are committed to improving the accessibility of the Networkshop 2025 website and mobile app and addressing any existing challenges. Our goal is to provide an inclusive, user-friendly experience for everyone.

If you encounter any accessibility barriers or have suggestions for improvement, please contact us at accessibility@vfairs.com. Your feedback is valuable in helping us enhance accessibility for all users.

3) Enforcement Procedure

The Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC) is responsible for enforcing the Public Sector Bodies (Websites and Mobile Applications) (No. 2) Accessibility Regulations 2018. If you're not happy with how we respond to your complaint, contact the Equality Advisory and Support Service (EASS).

4) Technical Information About This Website and Mobile App's Accessibility

vFairs is committed to making its website and app accessible, in accordance with the Public Sector Bodies (Websites and Mobile Applications) (No. 2) Accessibility Regulations 2018.

4.1) Compliance Status

The Networkshop 2025 website and mobile app have been assessed for accessibility based on the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standard. This globally recognized framework ensures that digital content is accessible to all users, including individuals with disabilities.

Currently, the website and app are partially compliant with WCAG 2.2 AA due to the following:

1. Known Non-Compliances:

Certain features do not yet fully meet the required accessibility standards. These issues are detailed in the "Non-Compliance with the Accessibility Regulations" section.

2. Exemptions:

Some elements are exempt from accessibility regulations. These are outlined in the "Content Not Within the Scope of the Accessibility Regulations" section.

4.2) Non-Compliance with the Accessibility Regulations

WCAG 2.1.3 - Keyboard Navigation: Some interactive elements are not fully navigable using a keyboard.

Planned Resolution: We are implementing comprehensive tab navigation for all interactive elements.

WCAG 2.4.7 - Focus Visible: Some elements lack proper focus indicators, making navigation difficult for keyboard or assistive tech users.

  • Planned Resolution: We are enhancing focus visibility for all actionable elements.

WCAG 1.4.12 - Text Spacing: The app does not currently support adjustments to text spacing.

  • Planned Resolution: We will ensure text remains accessible with customizable spacing options.

4.3) Disproportionate Burden

Currently, there is no option to skip repeated content in the page header (e.g., a "Skip to Main Content" feature). Due to the cost and complexity, we consider this a disproportionate burden for now. We will reassess this by October 30, 2025.

4.4) Content Not Within the Scope of the Accessibility Regulations

  • Third-Party Content: Some content on our site/app is provided by third parties and is not within our control.

5) What We're Doing to Improve Accessibility

We are committed to creating a fully accessible and inclusive experience for all users. To achieve this, we are actively working to enhance compliance with the WCAG 2.2 AA standard.

Planned Improvements:

  • Adding Text Alternatives for Images:

By October 30, 2025, all images will include appropriate alt text.

  • Enhancing Keyboard Navigation and Focus Indicators:

By October 30, 2025, improvements will be made for smoother keyboard navigation and visual focus cues.

Accessibility is an ongoing priority. We value user feedback and will continue to update the app to address any barriers.

This statement was last reviewed and updated on June 15, 2025. It was prepared after a full evaluation by our internal accessibility team at vFairs using automated and manual testing.
